JOYN-醉雍樓 JOYN wanted luxury with a hand-drawn soul. I gave them 4 ceiling murals that turn a meal into a moment you can look up to.

Joyn, Landmark, Hong Kong. Sketchy strokes. No heavy shading – just confident lines that feel like studies from a naturalist’s notebook.

Crustaceans. Corals. Seaweeds. Edible fish. And more. All drawn with marker, all on ceiling. 2 at 2.4m diameter, 2 at 1.4m diameter. Different sizes, one ocean.

The challenge? Painting upside down. Stabilising your body, your hand, your breath. Every line has to land exactly where you want it – because there’s no second chance on a ceiling. This wall art turns a meal into a moment, and a painting into an experience you don’t forget the flavour of.

She’s the only two-tailed siren in the world that swims like a koi.

For APAC Anniversary – celebrating 25 years of coffee excellence – I reimagined their iconic emblem. Not as a siren, but as an oriental koi fish. Silver crown. Silver frame. All on a 1.5m canvas.

She carries the spirit of the brand, but she belongs to the East now. A nod to meaningful connection in Hong Kong, where East meets West, one brushstroke at a time.

The mural doesn’t just decorate a wall. It creates a quiet corner in a busy mall – this one inside Starbucks Reserve Starbucks Hong Kong at Landmark, Central. The art brings a gentle, whimsical presence to where travellers, tourists, and office workers move fast. They needed a spot to breathe. To relax. To pause.

So this wall does exactly that. Every brush of paint unfolds a farm-to-cup story through mood and detail. Mist drifts through coffee botanicals, evoking the pleasure of a lingering sip and a moment to recharge.

Bold coffee cherries and unfurling blossoms emerge against a mist-laden rainforest backdrop. Contemporary, oriental-inspired gold frames cut through the painting like windows opening into layered depths of coffee plants, patterns, and a serene landscape.

This is the kind of art that doesn’t shout. It just waits for you to look up.

So tell me – what will you order next time you’re in the busiest part of Central? Or let your choice be made by the professional barista only at Starbucks Reserve.

The girl leans low across that bumblebee, riding it through a forest of giant flowers. Not soaring – crossing. Her posture says she’s done this over a hundred times. The bee’s fur is almost feline. The flowers rise like old trees. You are small here, but never alone. This mural turns a blank surface into a memory – painted not just as art, but to create a feeling of belonging.

My client wanted Novoland to feel like home before anyone moved in. A new development can be just buildings and pathways. They wanted more – a neighbourhood that already includes you.

They created a character called Novobot (across all the other murals), a small robot guide for their brand world. As a mural artist in Hong Kong, I took that world and gave it depth. 5 murals across the property. No cartoons. No flat illustrations. Just a giant garden, a girl, a robot, and the quiet weight of being welcomed. This is art by me – not just a painter, but a creator who builds worlds on walls.

Sun Hung Kai had buildings. I created a garden that makes those buildings feel like home.

The smallest things, made large. Butterflies as large as petals. Dragonflies in copper and amber. Like looking through a magnifier at something you never expected. this mural finds infinity in the quietest garden.
