Today marks the conclusion of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

This year's theme, "Every 10 Minutes, a Woman is Killed. . UNiTE to End Violence Against Women," underscores the urgency of addressing the root causes of gender-based violence and investing in sustainable solutions to end it.

Ending GBV requires collective action from all sectors of society. From corner shops to places of worship, barber shops and salons to corporate offices, and within our homes and schools—each of us has a critical role to play.

While the 16 Days of Activism may end today, the conversation and the work must persist. Together, we can create a safer and more equitable world for everyone.
