Timehri Film Festival Timehri Film Festival is a Guyanese and Caribbean film festival held yearly in Georgetown, Guyana. The 6th annual Festival, will run from Sep 23-26, virtually.

The Timehri Film Festival (TFF) is an annual Guyanese and Caribbean film festival aimed at showcasing the work of Guyanese and Caribbean filmmakers in the Region and Diaspora. The Festival was conceived by the New York City based Caribbean Film Academy (CAFA), in partnership with the Caribbean-American culture blog Rewind & Come Again (RACA). TFF will feature a full slate of short and feature length Indigenous, Guyanese and Caribbean films.

HEADS UP! Submissions for TIMEHRI FILM FESTIVAL close in 1 week! 🎬

This is your final chance to submit your film to be apart of this year’s programme.

Short and feature-length films across all genres, as well as music videos styled as short films, are being accepted for consideration from filmmakers of Caribbean heritage, from Caribbean regions or the diaspora.

If you have a film you’re eager to share, submit while you can! Selected films will screen at this year’s festival.

And, there’s NO SUBMISSION FEE 😉

As we get closer to the Timehri Film Festival, we’re looking forward to the stories that will shape this year’s program.

Film submissions close September 4. Short and feature-length films across all genres, as well as music videos styled as short films, are being accepted for consideration from filmmakers of Caribbean heritage, from Caribbean regions or the diaspora.

If you have a film you’ve been wanting to share, we’d love to see it. Selected films will screen at this year’s festival.
