Every business has a beginning. Mine started with one person who kept her word.

When I decided to step out on my own, I did what most people do...tried to line up jobs first. A lot of people said they’d hire me. Gave me their word. That was enough for me to take the leap and invest in equipment.

But when the time came… almost everyone disappeared.

Except one.

Mala.

For an entire year, she was my only client. It may not have looked like much from the outside, but that season meant everything to me.

Over the years, I've seen where some providers get a little too comfortable. Showing up late, rushing through setup, doing a quick sound check (if any at all) and then carrying an apathetic attitude throughout the event.
