A concert cannot be generated in quite the same way as a recording. An audience and a performer occupy the same space. The singer hears the crowd, the musicians respond to one another, the tempo can change, mistakes can become part of the experience and an ordinary performance can acquire significance because it happened in that particular room, on that particular night. The value is partly contained in the music and partly in the fact that people were there to make it happen.
Artificial intelligence has entered music production with extraordinary speed.
