This week, we spotlight Basdeo’s Dynasty, a growing local agro-processing business bringing high-quality, farm-fresh products to shelves across Guyana. 🇬🇾

With guidance from the Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC), Basdeo’s Dynasty successfully secured labels, jars, barcodes, nutrition facts, and certification, helping to strengthen their brand and expand their market reach.

Their diverse product line includes:
🌶️ Mango and tamarind achar
🔥 Pepper sauces
🌾Plantain flour and split peas powder
🌿 Ground and whole geera (cumin)
✨Nutmeg, turmeric, and garam masala
🐟Salted fish including shark, banga, trout, and snapper.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate women entrepreneurs who are preserving tradition and sharing the bold flavors of Guyana with their communities. Basdeo’s Dynasty, led by Radhika Basdeo, proudly stands among these inspiring women. Known as the Queen of Spices and Sauces, Radhika has built a business dedicated to producing authentic Guyanese seasonings and specialty foods.
