We need YOUR students’ help to name our newest marine friend at the aquarium! 🌊 This is a fun and creative opportunity for your class to dive into the excitement of marine life.

If you’d like for you and your class to join in on this contest, contact us at [email protected] for more information.

The deadline for name suggestions is February 3, 2025, and the winning name will be announced on February 13, 2025!

The winning class will get a special video shoutout for naming the Baby Blacktip shark AND a free field trip with a backyard tour to visit the baby shark you helped name.

🎉On December 24, 2024, we welcomed baby Blacktip Reef Sharks into the Aquarium of Guam family! These tiny reef guardians are currently being closely monitored in their nursery to ensure they grow up healthy and strong. Swipe to see some sneak peek pictures of our fined friends.🦈💙

Blacktip Reef Sharks play a vital role in keeping coral reef ecosystems balanced, and their arrival is a milestone for marine conservation.
