Meet the Cast! ⭐💜🍫🎩

“Hi everyone, my name is Luca. I’m in 6th grade. I am 12 years old. My role in the play is Augustus Gloop. I love acting, and I’ve been in school plays since 4th grade. I was in Matilda and Frozen, and this year I’m in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.I’m really happy to be in the show, especially because this year I got a main character. I’m super excited about that! I’ve been working really hard on the musical. I also want to thank Ms. Andrea, Mr. Alex, and Mr. Basket for helping prepare everything for the show. At school, I play basketball, and outside of school, I like to play volleyball and pickleball. I hope the play goes really well, and I can’t wait to see you on opening night!“

“My name is Daye and I am playing Mrs. Gloops in this production. This is my second year participating in the Colegio Maya school play, having played the role of Bulda in Frozen last year. As a senior, I couldn‘t be happier to close out my time here with such a fabulous show. From a young age, it was one of my greatest interests, and simply thinking about it was enough to make me smile. There is something truly magical about the world of performance, the way a story can come to life on stage and move an entire audience. That magic is what drew me in, and it is what keeps me coming back. I am so grateful to the entire production team, cast, and crew, whose hard work and dedication brought this show to life. I hope you enjoy the show as much as we have enjoyed preparing it!“
