"Narrow Passage"

In this work, order meets unpredictability. Geometric structure coexists with spontaneous bursts of color, creating a passage that simultaneously narrows and opens up. It functions both as a boundary and a way through—a condensed journey where the linear encounters chance, and the viewer is invited to find their own path.

"Apeliotes", acrylics, ink, marker on canvas 50 × 70 cm.
From the Blue Geometry series.

Apeliotes takes its name from the ancient Greek personification of the east wind — the wind that arrives with the rising sun.

In this work, I was interested in the idea of movement within structure: layers of blue shifting against pale, almost still surfaces, while the geometric lines attempt to contain them.
The wind itself is never depicted. Its presence is suggested through direction, interruption and movement.

Για τις ομάδες των παιδιών που επιμένουν να ζωγραφίζουν...
Χάρηκα ιδιαίτερα που συμμετείχα στη δράση «Τα παιδιά ομορφαίνουν την πόλη», όπου μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικοί μεταμόρφωσαν τα ΚΑΦΑΟ της Βέροιας σε μικρές εστίες χρώματος και δημιουργίας.

"Π"

Το "Π" το δούλεψα με έναν τρόπο σαν να έβαζα όρια στις τέσσερις επιφάνειες του καμβά. Στην πορεία όμως κατάλαβα ότι τα όρια αυτά είναι... αρμοί. Συγκρατούν. Όπως λειτουργούν οι σκέψεις μας. Οι σκέψεις μας συνυπάρχουν χωρίς να γίνονται μία. Και κάπου ανάμεσα προσπάθησα να σταθώ και εγώ, βάζοντας το δικό μου Π, πλαίσιο, πορεία. Σκέψεις λοιπόν, τέσσερις αναγνώσεις, μία ισορροπία.
