Olympia’s painting impresses me for the transparency and freshness of its colors. She handles watercolors in a remarkable manner and she succeeds in her creations, even in very small dimensions, to express a world which is dense, multi-colorful and full of light. Her landscapes and still lives offer to the viewer an abundance of colors plenty of optimism, and this is achieved at times through an expressionist tendency and at times by touching upon Klee’s dream-world. On top of that, Olympia experiments by creating constructions using various materials which enable to express herself in a multitude of ways. Therefore, her work avoids monotony and conquers interesting extensions, beyond the traditional surface of painting.
