Salam News reporters interview Michal Szcześniak, a director and screenwriter, from Warsaw, Poland.

Michal Szcześniak is known for Fisheye (2020), Starting Point (2014) and Spitsbergen (2017).

His debut film has been chosen as one of the ten films competing for the five Oscar's nominations for Documentary Short Subject.

Szcześniak is also the author of many screenplays such as Goliath, The Dark Side Of The Light and The Captain to name just a few. Moreover he is a columnist for a few Polish magazines.

Salam News reporters interview the producer Maira Karsakbayeva and actor Musa Karsakbayev, from Kazakhstan.

They both represented the best children's film in the history of Kazakh cinema "My name is Koja", by Abdullah Karsakbayev, who was the father of Maira and grandfather of Musa. The film was screened the last day of Salam.
