🎊 Simbart Projects 16 Mart – 29 Nisan tarihleri arasında galerinin temsiliyetli sanatçılarından Dilara Göl’ün ‘Kelimelerin Yankıları Var’ isimli ikinci kişisel sergisine ev sahipliği yapıyor. Sergideki eserler bir bütünün parçalarından oluşuyor ve bütünden alınmış birçok iz barındırıyor. Kelimelerin sanatçının bilincinde oluşturduğu imgeler, çağrışım, ima ve anımsatmalar olarak eserlerde yer alıyor.

🌟Simbart Projects hosts represented artist Dilara Göl's second solo exhibition titled "Words Have Echoes" between 16 March and 29 April. The works in the exhibition consist parts of whole and contain many traces that have taken from the whole. The images created by the artist are referred to words in her consciousness and these images are included in the works as connotations,
allusions, and reminders.

Kıvılcım Harika Seydim'in son dönemde ürettiği kağıt üzerine karakalem çalışmaları görünenin ötesindeki ütopik bir mekan ve zamanı bilinçdışı ve gerçek üstü pratiklerden faydalanarak yorumluyor. Sergide yer alan ‘Her Yerden Uzakta’ isimli yeni serisinde, çektiği doğa video ve fotoğraflarını kendi düşsel kurgusuyla yeniden şekillendiriyor. İnsanla doğa arasında giderek açılan mesafeyi, doğanın başka bir evrenden manzaralara dönüşmesi şeklinde yorumluyor.

Kıvılcım Harika Seydim's recent charcoal works on paper interpret an utopian space beyond the visible and time by making use of unconscious and surreal practices. In her new series titled 'Away from Everywhere', she reshapes the nature videos and photographs she takes into her own fantasy fiction. The artist interprets the distance that is gradually widening between man and nature as nature turning into landscapes from another universe.

Kıvılcım Harika Seydim'in son dönemde ürettiği kağıt üzerine karakalem çalışmaları görünenin ötesindeki ütopik bir mekan ve zamanı bilinçdışı ve gerçek üstü pratiklerden faydalanarak yorumluyor. Sergide yer alan ‘Her Yerden Uzakta’ isimli yeni serisinde, çektiği doğa video ve fotoğraflarını kendi düşsel kurgusuyla yeniden şekillendiriyor. İnsanla doğa arasında giderek açılan mesafeyi, doğanın başka bir evrenden manzaralara dönüşmesi şeklinde yorumluyor. Resimlerinde, siyah-beyaz çizimleriyle bizi başka bir dünyaya farklı biçimsel formlarla bakmaya davet ederken, videolarında ise videonun teknik yapısından yararlanarak mekanı yeni bir oyun alanına dönüştürüyor.

In her paintings, she invites us to look at another world with different formal forms with her black and white drawings, while in her videos, she transforms the space into a new playground by taking advantage of the technical structure of the video.

Ferhat Tunç, yaşadığı çevrede yapmış olduğu gözlemlerinin bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan üretim sürecinin çıktılarını felsefik ve sosyolojik bir yaklaşım içerisinde ele alıyor. ‘Geleceğini Düşleyen Yok-Yerler: Yüzeyi Aşındırmak’ adlı coğrafi çevre ve mimari yapıları odağına alan yeni çalışması, yaşamını sürdürdüğü İstanbul’da kentsel dönüşüm adı altında farklılığını yitirmiş mekanları odağına alıyor. Sanatçı, inşaatlarda beton alanını oluşturabilmek için kullanılan plywood adlı yüzeyi pürüzsüz bir malzemeyi üzerinde kazıma yaparak oluşturulan izlerle şekillendiriyor. İçinde bulunduğumuz mekânları yeniden okuma girişimi olan yeni serisi, kentleri “öteki mekânlar” üzerinden düşünerek “farklılık” düzlemi çerçevesinde değerlendirirken, artık var olmayan ve dönüşüme uğrayan heterotopik mekânları, değerlerini yok etmeden muhafaza etmenin mümkün olup olmayacağı üzerine öneri sunuyor.

Ferhat Tunç considers the production process that is emerged as a result of his observations in the environment he lives in within a philosophical and sociological approach. His new work, titled ‘Non-Places Dreaming of the Future: Abrading the Surface’ focuses on the geographical environment and architectural structures and on the spaces that have lost their difference under the name of urban transformation in Istanbul, where he lives. The artist shapes the surface called plywood, which is used to create the concrete area in constructions, with traces created by scraping on it. The new series, which is an attempt to re-read, evaluates cities within the framework of “difference" by thinking through "other spaces" and offers suggestions on whether it is possible to preserve heterotopic spaces that no longer exist and undergo in transformation without destroying their value.

Ahmet Hamdi Soydemir çalışmalarında yaşadığı çevrenin görsel ve dokunsal duyumlarına, bunu oluşturan süreçlere ve kültürel tutumlara odaklanarak renk satıhları içeren pentürel bir dil sunuyor. Sanatçı, doğrusal olmayan, beklenmedik yön değişikliklerine ve anlam kaymalarına açık bir yöntemle ürettiği yağlı boya eserlerinde zihinsel ve fiziki mekan kavramlarına odaklanarak tanımsız bir dizi mekan imgesi oluşturmanın yollarını arıyor. Sanatçı tarafından üretilen kurmaca gerçeklik içerisinde yer alan bu mekan kesitleri, iç mekan ve dış mekan arasındaki sınırların kalktığı dönüşümleri ortaya çıkarıyor.

Ahmet Hamdi Soydemir focuses on the visual and tactile sensations of his environment, the creation processes and the cultural attitudes and presents a pentural language that includes color lines. In his oil paintings, which he produces with a method that is non-linear, open to unexpected changes of direction and changes in meaning, the artist is looking for ways to create a series of undefined space images by focusing on mental and physical space concepts. These sections of space, which are included in the fictional reality produced by the artist, reveal the transformations where the boundaries between indoor and outdoor space are removed.

‘Dönüşümün Bilinci’ adlı 25 Şubat’a kadar devam edecek sergimiz açıldı. Ferhat Tunç, Kıvılcım Harika Seydim ve Ahmet Hamdi Soydemir’in çalışmalarının yer aldığı sergi, yaşanılan ve zaman içerisinde dönüşen çevreyi odağına alıyor ve insan bilinci üzerinden doğa ve mekanların kimi zaman kurgusal kimi zaman somutlaşan unsurlarını gözler önüne seriyor.

The group exhibition 'Consciousness of Transformation' has opened and can be seen until 25 February. The exhibition features the works of Ferhat Tunç, Kıvılcım Harika Seydim and Ahmet Hamdi Soydemir.  Focusing on the environment that is lived and transformed over time, works reveal sometimes fictional and sometimes embodied elements of nature and places through human consciousness.
