European maritime priorities in focus at the Laros stand during SMM 2026.

LAROS by Prisma Electronics was honoured to host representatives of the European Commission at our stand at SMM Hamburg 2026 for a focused session on the priorities and opportunities shaping the future of Europe’s maritime sector.

The discussion explored the EU Industrial Maritime Strategy and EU Ports Strategy, the future framework of Horizon Europe 2028-2034, and the Zero-Emission Waterborne Transport Partnership, highlighting the role of research, innovation and collaboration in strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability and resilience of the European maritime ecosystem.

The session also provided practical insights into Horizon Europe applications, from understanding call requirements and defining clear outcomes and impacts to building effective work plans and strong project teams.

For LAROS by Prisma Electronics, hosting this discussion at SMM reflects the importance of connecting technology and maritime innovation with the broader European priorities driving the sector forward.
