PERFORMANCE

Polychromatic White by Agape Kossidou

A ritualistic emergence of form from the formless.

«Polychromatic White» explores the friction of the «summer soul»—the clash between the vibrant world outside and the internal weight of discomfort. It is a psychomatic journey of feeling like an «alien» in a hyper-realistic reality, where sensitivity becomes both a sanctuary and a struggle.

Inspired by the Platonic «Chora» from Timaeus, the body acts as a living vessel for sound, image, and word. Shaped by memory, trauma, and nature, the performer becomes a transitional landscape where emotions arise and dissolve in a constant state of becoming.

A world of perpetual flow, where sensitivity is the raw matter of creation.

📢 OPEN CALL PERFORMANCE❗
🗓️ 24-27 September 2026 | Drama

⛔The 8th International Forum of Performance Art returns with an open call for live performances. If you are an artist or a group active in the field of performance art, this is the time to present your work in the context of an international meeting with this year’s theme: “Post-Anthropocene: Libidinal Foldings”.

🔺 The call focuses on the redefinition of identity, desire, and the living experience as a radical poetic-political act in the face of scientific and technological evolution. We encourage performances that navigate the fluid boundaries between the human and the non-human, the physical and the artificial, reflecting on the (re)construction of subjectivity through the “foldings” of the body—whether in physical space or through technological mediation.

We welcome experimental, interdisciplinary, and hybrid formats that challenge normative perceptions, deconstruct binary structures, and propose new performative languages within the emergent territories of the Post-Anthropocene.

‼️ATTENTION‼️ The open call for the Viewing Room will be announced soon❗

🔴 Participation requirements:

● The proposed performance must not exceed 45 minutes
● Title and short description of the work (up to 300 words)
● Artist/team biography (up to 200 words)
● Short Portfolio or link to previous actions

⏳Deadline by 14 June 2026
📌 Proposals will be evaluated by the IFPA Artistic Director.

CHORA FEEDBACK — noise in the cavity of the Idea
POST FLUXUS BROTHERS in noise

Where language fractures and noise becomes origin.
A sonic collision between the semiotic and the symbolic.
Feedback as rupture.
Chora as shifting ground.

Not structure.
Not order.
But the tremor before meaning.

INSTALLATION PERFORMANCE

INTERFACE by Ioanna Skantzeli

The body as Chora: the primal territory where memory, desire and trauma are inscribed.
A return not to geography, but to the somatic and psychic landscape — where the unconscious whispers and images emerge between dream and reality.

Not nostalgia.
A descent.

Into the body.
Into memory.
Into what never truly disappears.

PERFORMANCE

At the Byzantine Walls, Lab-Performance by Maro Theodosiou and Maria Harela unfolded as an open laboratory of bodies in action.

A performative encounter taking shape in real time, where gesture, repetition, and presence became tools of exploration. The body emerged simultaneously as material, process, and archive — testing limits, relationships, and shifting states of being within the charged historical landscape.

A shared terrain of listening, friction, and transformation.
