We firmly believe that our painting, walking and cycling holidays on the South of Corfu should be enjoyed not endured. It’s really important to us that you finish your day’s activities feeling challenged, but at the same time, smiling and having had a great time. We plan our painting, walking and cycling activities with meticulous detail. However, we spend almost as much time choosing the best available accommodation for our holidays, along with selecting the best local restaurants. The whole of the area is lovely, the town is located within a fertile plain full of olive trees, vineyards and vegetable gardens, with a small river flowing through it. where Lawrence Durrell wrote ” Prospero’s Cell” and Henry Miller’s ” The Colossus of Marousi “.
Kalami is probably best known as the former residence of the authors Lawrence and Gerald Durrell. Visiting writers, such as Henry Miller, would take up residence in their home at Kalami, a former fisherman’s cottage called the White House.
During the holiday painting classes are offered for those who wish to try a new virtuosity or practice the already existing one.
Also the place is ideal for Authors seeking inspiration but also amateurs Authors who want to try for the first time.
