PONTIKONISI LIVE PERFOMANCE.

Two days ago, I returned (in my roots) to live painting after several years, during the 4 Evenings of Art at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Corfu.

I wanted to paint something unmistakably Corfiot "Pontikonisi" but not quite as we usually see it. In my imagination, the island floats somewhere between the real and the mythical: familiar, yet slightly dreamlike.

Painted live in approximately one hour, surrounded by guests, conversation, music and the evening atmosphere of Corfu, and of course, explain the myth behind.

Sometimes it is interesting to take a place we all know and simply ask: What if we looked at it differently?

A new chapter for The First Song.

I’m very happy to share that my painting "The First Song" has been selected for the Beyond Bree 2027 Calendar, celebrating the 50th anniversary of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Silmarillion.

Beyond Bree is the publication of the Tolkien Special Interest Group of American Mensa, and the calendar brings together a remarkable group of artists whose work has contributed to the visual world of Middle-earth.

I’m honoured to have The First Song included alongside Ted Nasmith, Donato Giancola, Anke Eißmann, Miriam Ellis, Emily Austin, Michael Taaffe, and many others.
A special publication for a very special anniversary.

A decade of voices.

I went back through ten years of interviews, features, reviews and press coverage and selected some of the voices that have accompanied my journey as an artist.
