First show of the season featuring an incredible mixtape and Interview with Tolga Boyuk from , as he reflects on his musical path, college dropouts, the perfect stage lights and more, before his trip to India.

Born from the musical dreams of Istanbul based musician/producer Tolga Boyuk, Islandman represents a fiction character, a music persona, a dreamer composing the stories of a non-existing place.

Islandman performs on stage as an electro-acoustic live trio format. Their music can be described as a unique mix of mellow electronic structures & dance beats with spacey live guitars, backed up by shamanic rhythms.

The mixing idea during the record sessions or in live performances is to bring Turkish Psychedelia or an African roots music reef together with a feeling of the electric universe. The power of the band comes from their perfect balance of electronic structures and acoustical harmonies.

As the season closes, we’re excited to present an incredible mixtape and interview with Kotoe! is a multitalented figure in the music scene Her distinctive blend of arts and music has captivated dance floors at clubs and festivals across Germany and worldwide.

Think disco, feel acid, breathe tropicali. Kotoe challenges expectations and surprises dancers with her genre-bending beats, taking listeners on a journey through the Machi’s of Tokyo, the Rua’s of Rio, and the Strasse’s of Berlin, blooming with life, stories, and emotion.

Hello peeps, with this post we are announcing our new collective name: Kuttura Kuttura.

After years of diving into this lovely project, we reached a point of maturity and understanding that calls for transformation. All those experiences, chats and interactions, in and outside of dancefloors, led us to a greater awareness of the complexities of the word "exotica”, the very point that ignited this change.

Through our continuous research in music, world cultures - subcultures and exploration into cultural appropriation/appreciation we are giving back to what we envision as a more respectful world.

Kuttura Kuttura is a journey of breaking boundaries, broadening music horizons, and embodying diversity with utmost respect. We are happy for our next steps and excited to meet again and shed light and hope through music and dance.
