We are pleased to announce that the team of the DOTS International Documentary Film Festival has completed the evaluation of this year's submissions 🎬✨

We would like to thank all the filmmakers from Greece and around the world who shared their stories, ideas, and work with us. 🎞️

The selection process was far from easy. We received many powerful and moving films, and we truly wish we had more screening time available to include even more of them in this year’s program.

The films selected for the official program of the festival’s second edition will be announced soon.

Η διαδικασία αξιολόγησης των ταινιών ολοκληρώθηκε! Με μεγάλη χαρά ανακοινώνουμε ότι η ομάδα του DOTS International Documentary Film Festival ολοκλήρωσε την αξιολόγηση των φετινών συμμετοχών 🎬✨

Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε όλους τους δημιουργούς από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό που μοιράστηκαν μαζί μας τις ιστορίες, τις ιδέες και τη δουλειά τους. 🎞️

Η επιλογή δεν ήταν καθόλου εύκολη. Λάβαμε πολλές δυνατές και συγκινητικές ταινίες, θα θέλαμε να είχαμε περισσότερο χρόνο προβολών ώστε να μπορέσουμε να συμπεριλάβουμε ακόμη περισσότερες από αυτές στο φετινό πρόγραμμα.

Σύντομα θα ανακοινωθούν οι ταινίες που θα αποτελέσουν την επίσημη επιλογή της δεύτερης διοργάνωσης του φεστιβάλ.

•••​The new visual identity of the DOTS International Documentary Film Festival.

​A visual language made of symbols, gestures, and abstract forms.​Raw textures, spontaneous movements, and strong contrasts compose a system that moves between documentary and visual expression.​At the center is the eye, symbolizing an act of observation, presence, and memory, elements that lie at the core of filmmaking.​The color palette is based on earthy tones, which act as a background to welcome intense blacks. Yellow details break the monotony and bring the festival to light.
​An identity that does not simply depict. It observes.

••• Η νέα οπτική ταυτότητα του DOTS International Documentary Film Festival. Μια οπτική γλώσσα φτιαγμένη από σύμβολα, χειρονομίες και αφαιρετικές φόρμες. Ακατέργαστες υφές, αυθόρμητες κινήσεις και έντονες αντιθέσεις συνθέτουν ένα σύστημα που κινείται ανάμεσα στο ντοκουμέντο και την εικαστική έκφραση. Στο κέντρο βρίσκεται το μάτι, ως ένδειξη παρατήρησης, παρουσίας και μνήμης. Στοιχεία που βρίσκονται στον πυρήνα του ντοκιμαντέρ. Η χρωματική παλέτα βασίζεται σε γήινους τόνους, που λειτουργούν ως υπόβαθρο για να υποδεχτούν τις μαύρες εντάσεις. Οι κίτρινες λεπτομέρειες σπάνε τη μονοτονία και φέρνουν το φεστιβάλ στο φως. Μια ταυτότητα που δεν απεικονίζει απλώς. Παρατηρεί.
