Οι Filmmakers for Palestine Greece σε συνεργασία με τη Ntizezaέχουμε τη χαρά να φιλοξενήσουμε μία από τις 300 παγκόσμιες προβολές του προγράμματος No Pride in Genocide (Ιούνιος 2026) από το Q***r Cinema for Palestine, που περιλαμβανει έξι ταινίες μικρού μήκους.

Για δεύτερη συννεχόμενη χρονια συνδιοργανώσουμε την προβολη Νο Pride in Genocide, μια παγκόσμια κινηματογραφική εκδήλωση, που συνδιοργανώνεται από την Παλαιστινιακή Εκστρατεία για το Ακαδημαϊκό και Πολιτιστικό Μποϊκοτάζ του Ισραήλ (PACBI). Το Q***r Cinema for Palestine ξεκίνησε ως ένας εναλλακτικός ηθικός χώρος για τις/τους/τα κινηματογραφίστριες/ές/α που απέσυραν ή αρνήθηκαν να προβάλουν το έργο τους στο Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου LGBTQ TLVFest, το οποίο χρηματοδοτείται από την ισραηλινή κυβέρνηση.

Filmmakers for Palestine Greece in collaboration with NTIZEZA, are happy to be hosting one of the 300 worldwide screenings of the programme No Pride in Genocide (June 2026)by Q***r Cinema for Palestine, consisting of six short films.

For the second consecutive year, we are co-hosting No Pride in Genocide screening, a global film event, co-organized by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI). Q***r Cinema for Palestine began as an alternative ethical space for filmmakers who pulled or refused to show their work in the Israeli government-sponsored TLVFest LGBTQ Film Festival.

With English and Greek subtitles.

We invited artist Kihyun Park to introduce us to her printed work, and she came up with an intimate reading performance, incorporating videos, handmade and found objects, a poetic blend of personal histories, landscapes, labor, industrial production, migration.

While our eyes are on our abducted comrades from Global Sumud Flotilla and on the Maghreb Sumu Convoy heading to Gaza, we want to thank Konstanza Kapsali for sharing with us yesterday at the Experimental Video Workshop 8 some of her favourite films; films with no script, no bugdet, no framing rules, soulful films, free films.

Η Slavenka Drakulić παρατηρεί ότι σε κάθε πόλη της Ανατολικής Ευρώπης υπάρχει ένα Café Europa – μια προσπάθεια των ανθρώπων να μοιάσουν στη Δύση μέσα από τη διακόσμηση και τον καφέ, ενώ εσωτερικά παραμένουν εγκλωβισμένοι στο παρελθόν.
Στα Βαλκάνια, η Slavenka Drakulić μας θύμισε πως τα τείχη δεν πέφτουν αν δεν γκρεμίσουμε πρώτα εκείνα που κουβαλάμε μέσα μας.

Το δέντρο

Επειδή ήταν πολύ αγαπημένοι
─όλη μέρα μπορούσαν να λέν’ σαχλαμάρες─

χωρίς να πέφτουν

απ’ τα κλαριά

του πανύψηλου εκείνου δέντρου,

όπου είχαν ανεβεί για να ‘ναι μόνοι,

ανάμεσα στους ωραίους καρπούς

που ακίνητοι άκουγαν,

με μιαν αμείωτη και συγκινημένη σοβαρότητα.

Ύστερα έπαψαν ν’ αγαπιούνται,
πιάσαν μιαν ατέλειωτη σοβαρή κουβέντα.
Τότε, το δέντρο τούς τίναξε κάτω
μαζί με τους άλλους ανθρώπους.
Αυτό το δέντρο δεν αστειεύεται,
οι καρποί του είναι είρωνες κι αυστηροί,
έχουν, εξάλλου, ειδικευτεί στη μετάφραση.

EXPERIMENTAL VIDEO WORKSHOP 7

Last Tuesday, after watching and discussing films and ways filmmakers have experimented around the idea of labour, Katerina Cathy Ki prompted us to a simple drawing and writing exercise. This worked as an extra tool for practising script improvisation. On our next meeting, next Tuesday, we will screen and discuss our completed or in progress works.

“Embodied Herstories”
11 & 18 February 2026

Muchas gracias to the wonderful artist Eliana Otta , our guest for this workshop, who shared her rich work and the work of artists she relates to. She encouraged and inspired our participants to experiment with the theme “Embodied Herstories”, who came up with exciting ideas and videos, made in just a week!
