A small part of my 40-minute talk at RECON 2026.
I talk about creative risk and why making something bigger or more extravagant isn’t necessarily the same as making something better. I also share some thoughts on the creative process behind House on the Hill and the decision to try something different.

It's only been a few days since RECON 2026. It's not often that you find a place where hundreds of creators and enthusiasts can exist at the same time, in a single, safe place, to share their passion about escape rooms. I learned so many different things from different creators, with different perspectives and cultures. I got to refill my creative batteries, which, after a decade of creating escape rooms had partially become depleted. :) So, if you ever get a chance to be there, don't miss out! It's truly a wonderful way to connect with other people with the same passion and to remember why you liked escape rooms in the first place.
Thank you RECON and Room Escape Artist for this amazing oppοrtunity!

It’s not often that so many creators from across the world, find themselves together in the same room. Different cultures, different perspectives, different, wonderful people. Once again, I learned things I didn’t know from incredibly talented speakers, whom I had the honor of being among. I met dozens of people from all over the world who have played my games, and through their eyes, I was able to see what I’ve created in a new light.

Thank you for inviting me and for your love! ❤️

Escape rooms can be more than puzzles and locks. Sometimes, they can leave a lasting impression on the way we think and feel.

Thank you, Room Escape Artist and Richard Burns. ❤️

There is no right way to describe how I feel seeing two of my rooms in the top two spots and a third one among the 15 best escape rooms in Athens.

A huge thank you to all the actors who have worked with me throughout the years, and to the thousands of players who travel from all over the world to experience the stories I create.

Thank you,
Bill
