Women On Top
Ασχολείσαι με τον χώρο της τέχνης και του πολιτισμού τα τελευταία 3+ χρόνια; Θα ήθελες να υποστηρίξεις γυναίκες με μικρότερη εμπειρία από σένα, να κάνουν τα πρώτα τους βήματα στον τομέα;

Tο Women On Top θέλει περισσότερες γυναίκες στις τέχνες και απευθύνει ανοιχτό κάλεσμα για μέντορες που θα συμβάλουν στη διαμόρφωση ενός κόσμου όπου κάθε γυναίκα και κορίτσι θα μπορεί να φτάσει εκεί που θέλει και μπορεί!

Το μόνο που θα χρειαστεί να κάνεις είναι να αφιερώσεις μία ώρα τον μήνα (για 3 ή 6 μήνες) για να συναντήσεις (διαδικτυακά ή δια ζώσης) μια άλλη γυναίκα και να μοιραστείς μαζί της την εμπειρία σου, να την καθοδηγήσεις ώστε να κυνηγήσει τα επαγγελματικά της όνειρα ή να την βοηθήσεις να ξεπεράσει ζητήματα που έως τώρα θεωρούσε άλυτα.

Ioulia Florentzi was born in the city of Kavala, Greece, in 1998. She studied in the School of Fine Arts in the Aristoteleion University, graduating in 2021. Her work is an exploration of the nuances of femininity in everyday life, as well as one of feminism in Greece and the Balkan area. Her main mediums are crochetry and sewing, in parallel with a wider experimentation of fabric-made-objects, tightly connected with feminine labor and production. At this point in time she is based in Gothenburg, where she is completing a masters degree at the HDK-Valand School of Arts of Gothenburg University.

Born and raised in Athens, Nefeli loved art as long as she can remember. Immersed in a world of creativity, she played the piano, painted, and danced from a young age. Having a technical education as a Civil Engineer in National Technical University of Athens, didn’t stop her from pursuing her dream of becoming an artist. In her early twenties, she started to broaden her artistic horizons, exploring photography, videography, illustration and 3D art. After graduating, Nefeli entered the corporate creative field as a UI Designer, all the while maintaining her genuine love for painting. Today, she dedicates her soul and free time to honing her skills in painting, studying drawing, and sculpting. Her wish is to perpetually create and share her inner world through various forms of art.

Christina Kapetaniou, born in 1996 in Thessaloniki, stands as a distinctive figure in the art world, uniquely blending technology and painting. As a painter, she approaches interactive installations not just as art pieces, but as living spaces where participants become an active part of the creative process. Her works emanate a reflection on the fluidity of life and change, inviting audiences to ponder the impact of time on existence and transformation.

Born in Alexandroupolis, Greece, Erasmia - Ismini lives and works in Greece. While her studies were in finance and accounting, and she currently works at the Ministry of Finance, she fell in love with handmade jewelry early on. By 2013 she would start taking sculpting lessons under the guidance of the sculptor Stelios Sarros. She has taken part in multiple exhibitions of the workshop, including in Contemporary Athens Gallery (2020) and ArtNumber23 Gallery (2020). Her work is based on the study of human figure as a mean of expression of emotions, sexuality, experiences and circumstances, as well as different forms that it can take, transcending definitions and stereotypical gender norms, highlighting the dynamics of the human body itself.

Erifili Doukeli lives and works in Athens. She is a postgraduate in the Athens School of Fine Arts MFA program. Apart from her artistic practice, she works as a freelancer in the digital field of 3d and projection mapping.

Eleni Dimopoulou is an Athens-based artist with a bachelor at Visual Arts and master's degree in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts. She has won awards at the 9th Biennale of Greek Schools of Fine Arts and the Pinewoods Studios at Lift-Off Academy Global Awards for her first-time VR film and nominated Finalist at the category Best Animation at Roma Prisma Awards. She has also awarded with scholarship from Epic Games at UT-HUB and currently working as an art director and game designer at Epic Games Woman's Creator Program UEFN .She has also participated in Documenta14, IFPA Drama International Performance Forum2022+2023, Athens Digital Festival, Animart, Athens Science Festival, Platforms, Video Miden 2023, International XOUTH Festival, ONED art experiment film festival and has taken part in multiply exhibitions in galleries and museums.(The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum ,Vorre Museum, Benaki Museum, European Art Center, Pinakothiki Grigoriadi, La Platforma etc). As a mentor teacher, she guided a student to win second place at the KALLOS/The Ultimate Beauty competition at the Museum of Cycladic Art. Dimopoulou is also designing and implementing educational workshops for individuals with special needs and new media technologies VR in collaboration with organizations such as SKEP, the Vorre Museum, Best Buddies, and Special Olympics. She is also the founder and curator of Apnea Symi, an annual exhibition located in Symi and Athens.
