A super late post from September when Mom and I took a day to see greeneries in Sentul and walk on memory lane in Bogor where we resided for about 2 years during Mom’s master’s study 45 years ago (!!!).

Yesterday was her 79rh birthday. I had to leave her home only with her grandfurkids but then we (sis, bro and I) managed to have a sate padang party with Mom at home for dinner (along with human grandkids, son & daughter in law except Diyan who was stuck at work).

And now I’m wondering just WHYYY did we forget to take any pic last night, .zoelfikar? 😆😆😆

I find it hard to keep up with prompts. Believe me, I’ve tried for years! gave me a good idea on how to do it but still I haven’t been able to realize it in the midst of my other to-do list and forgetfulness 😅 BUT I finally drew my first ! MBD stands for Michael Bambang Darsono, my recently deceased ginger cat that I (and my whole family) love dearly ❤️

MONDAY COMICS ~ Based on a true story 😅

I meant to post this in the morning because it would really relate with everyone’s (lack of) spirit in Monday morning. But after I consulted with the one and only Embu , I decided to try and color it. Voila! Many hours later, with other chores and tasks in-between, it’s finally done! And it’s still Monday!

Shoutout to comic artists, because, damn, what you guys do is hard work and requires long hours! Of course you get faster the longer you do it, but still!

Waktu ditawari untuk ngasih materi workshop gambar, aku sempat ragu karena belum pernah ngasih materi sendirian. Tapi demi komitmen pada kucing-kucing jalanan, aku iyain aja 😁 Akibat kasus Covid lagi naik, acara yang tadinya mau diadakan offline dialihkan jadi online. Sempat khawatir kalau orang-orang udah pada jenuh dengan apa-apa online. Eh nggak taunya, (salah satunya) berkat bantuan teman-teman yang mempromosikan kegiatan ini, jumlah peserta melebihi ekspektasi 😻 Workshop berjalan lancar, aku merasakan hawa positif dari para peserta, dan akupun menikmati sesi 2 jam ini (padahal niatnya maksimal 1,5 jam) 😸
Terima kasih untuk semua peserta dan teman-teman yang menyelenggarakan workshop “Let’s Draw Miauw”, semoga kita bisa gambar terus, sayang kucing terus, dan sehat terus! ❣️

Again, I learned something new. I thought Ibiza was a coastal area somewhere in Spain mainland. Turns out it is an island. And it is not only about beach parties but it also houses some historical buildings as its tourist destination.
