Káte Katerina Momitsa is a Greek designer and artist creator who lives and works in Athens.

Her work is presented under the brand name Káte and is related to the ebru and marbling techniques.

Καλώς ήρθατε στο studio μας!

Κάθε μέρα εδώ είναι διαφορετική, αλλά η ουσία παραμένει η ίδια: αφήνουμε το νερό να μας οδηγήσει, εξερευνούμε το χρώμα και τιμούμε την αρχαία τέχνη του Ebru.

Η παραγωγή για τις συλλογές μας γίνεται στο studio, υπό το brand KÁTE.

Welcome to our studio!

Every day here is different, but the core remains the same: surrendering to the water, exploring color, and honoring the ancient art of Ebru, otherwise known as marbling.

The production for our collections takes place right here in the studio, under the brand KÁTE.

​Feel. Όλα ξεκινούν από το συναίσθημα... την πρώτη σπίθα.

Everything begins with emotion... the first spark.

​Imagine. Εκεί που το συναίσθημα παίρνει σχήμα στον νου.

Where emotion takes shape in the mind.

​Explore. Ο πειραματισμός, η αναζήτηση των υλικών, της υφής.

The experimentation, the search for materials, for texture.

​Create. Η ολοκλήρωση. Εκεί που η φαντασία βρίσκει τον προορισμό της.

The completion. Where imagination finds its destination.

​Αυτή η διαδρομή βρήκε πια το δικό της σπίτι.

This journey has finally found its home.

​Μετά από κάθε ένταση, έρχεται η Ανάσταση.

After every tension, comes the Resurrection.

Introducing The Monochrome Collection. Five distinct palettes, designed for five different personalities. Hand-dipped in the studio, the subtle, fluid marbling of the wax creates an unrepeatable pattern. Each one is completely unique.

Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ όλους από καρδιάς που περάσατε από το περίπτερο μας, για την ωραία ενέργεια και την έμπνευση που μας δώσατε αυτές τις τρεις μέρες στην !
Ευχαριστούμε επίσης και όλους όσους δούλεψαν για να πραγματοποιηθεί αυτή η έκθεση (τους ανθρώπους της διοργάνωσης, αλλά και τους δικούς μας ανθρώπους που ήταν μαζί μας και μας βοήθησαν ❤️).

Είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενες για όλες τις νέες συνεργασίες, φυσικά και για όλες τις παλιές και ευχόμαστε μια πολύ καλή σεζόν για όλους 🌸

Ανυπομονούμε να σας δούμε όλους εκεί, επισκέπτες και εκθέτες!

Αυτή την χρονιά, η χαρά μου είναι διπλή, γιατι θα έχω μαζί μου την συνεργάτιδα μου , με την οποία έχουμε πολλά καινούρια να σας δείξουμε. Η κοινή μας συλλογή Kaliroi συνέχεια εμπλουτίζεται (σε λιγο θα γίνει ανεξάρτητο brand 😂), αλλα και η δική μου προσωπική συλλογή!

Κάθε νέο ημερολόγιο για μένα είναι ένας ολοκαίνουριος χρόνος που περιμένει να ξεδιπλωθεί. Κάθε λευκή σελίδα και μια υπόσχεση να δώσουμε τον καλύτερο εαυτό μας για την πραγματικότητα που επιθυμούμε.
​Εύχομαι φέτος για όλους μας, να γεμίσουμε τις μέρες μας με ανθρώπους και εμπειρίες που μας κάνουν τη ζωή πιο όμορφη, πιο πλούσια συναισθηματικά. Μέσα στη ροή της ζωής, ας πορευόμαστε με αγάπη και σεβασμό, βρίσκοντας τη δύναμη για όνειρα μεγάλα.
​Γιατί, όπως έγραψε ο Ρίλκε, «το μέλλον μπαίνει μέσα μας, για να μεταμορφωθεί μέσα μας, πολύ πριν συμβεί». Ας το υποδεχτούμε λοιπόν, αφήνοντας το πιο καθαρό και γλυκό αποτύπωμά μας σε κάθε μας βήμα 🤍

** Τα ημερολόγια είναι μια συνεργασία με το Studio Artarios. Είναι εξ ολοκλήρου ραμμένα στο χέρι με βυζαντινή βιβλιοδεσία και ντυμένα με χειροποίητα υφάσματα ebru. Έχουν μείνει λίγα κομμάτια – όποιος ενδιαφέρεται, μπορεί να μου στείλει DM.

Το νέο μου στούντιο είναι επίσημα το δικό μου "happy place". Άξιζε κάθε λεπτό δυσκολίας που πέρασα μέχρι να το βρω. Καμιά φορά, για να φτάσεις κάπου καλύτερα, χρειάζεται να περάσεις μέσα από απαιτητικές διαδρομές, όμως το αποτέλεσμα σε αποζημιώνει με τον πιο γλυκό τρόπο.
​Στην εκπνοή του χρόνου, νιώθω κουρασμένη αλλά βαθιά ευγνώμων για αυτό το ταξίδι — ένα ταξίδι πολύχρωμο και συναρπαστικό. Ερωτευμένη με το Ebru μου, ακριβώς όπως πριν από 10 χρόνια που το βρήκα. Γιατί έτσι συμβαίνει με τους μεγάλους έρωτες: ο χρόνος απλώς τους δυναμώνει.

My new studio is officially my happy place. It was worth every single minute of struggle it took to find it. Sometimes, to reach a better destination, you have to walk through hardships, but the reward makes it all worthwhile.
​As the year comes to a close, I find myself tired but deeply grateful for this journey—so colorful and so exciting. I am still in love with my Ebru art, just as I was 10 years ago when I first discovered it. That’s the thing about great loves: they never fade.
