Voice in Motion - Book Presentation by Rouddy Kimpioka at ANASA CULTURAL CENTER !
Rouddy Kimpioka is an artist, entrepreneur, and activist whose life and work cross borders, both geographical and cultural. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rouddy’s early years were marked by creativity, curiosity, and a belief in the power of community. His journey, however, was soon shaped by the realities of conflict, displacement, and the search for safety. Through these experiences, he discovered the strength of resilience — and the transformative force of music and storytelling.
With a background in engineering and a heart deeply rooted in rhythm, Rouddy founded Rad Music International in 2018, on World Refugee Day. What began as a small initiative to bring people together through music has grown into an international movement for solidarity, healing, and social change. Through concerts, workshops, and collaborations, Rad Music International has become a vibrant meeting place for refugees, locals, and artists from around the world — united by creativity and a shared longing for peace.
Rouddy’s work celebrates human connection. Whether performing on stage, leading community projects, or writing, he seeks to amplify the voices and experiences of those too often unheard. His artistic vision is grounded in the belief that every story carries the power to inspire change, and that through art we can reclaim dignity, identity, and hope.
Voice in Motion, his debut book, continues this journey — weaving together memory, reflection, and movement. It is both a personal testimony and a universal invitation: to listen, to connect, and to imagine a world where borders give way to belonging.
