Not all therapy comes in sessions... some comes with salty air, crystal-clear waters, slow sunsets, and summer days in Greece

Greece remains one of Europe’s most loved summer destinations thanks to its islands, food, beaches, and relaxed lifestyle.

The best months to visit Greece are May and June, when the weather is sunny and the islands are less crowded. September and October are also perfect, with warm seas, beautiful sunsets, and a more relaxed atmosphere.

📍Agistri Island Greece 🇬🇷
55 minutes from Athens and the water looks like this?🇬🇷🩵

If you’re planning a quick island escape, Agistri is such an easy choice. I’d recommend staying in Skala if you want plenty of restaurants, shops, and an easy base to explore from.

Of course, you also need to visit Aponisos. When I went, it was €6 for entry, which included a sunbed (and you can pay a little extra to upgrade to the nicer ones). There’s also a bar onsite where you can order drinks, snacks, or a full meal, plus bathrooms which honestly makes the whole beach day way easier.

But the best part? The water. It was that perfect refreshing temperature that cools you off during those ridiculously hot Greek summers without feeling freezing. I could’ve stayed in there forever😌🌊

Makarska Riviera, Croatia - sea in front, Biokovo behind, and that perfect “I could stay here for a month” curve of beach.

caught the classic Makarska flex: turquoise water + pine shade + mountains doing the most.

Best sweet spot: late June or September (warm sea, less crowd)

For calmer swims: go early or pick smaller bays outside the main strip

If it’s windy, hug the pine-lined side and the water stays nicer
