The BERNIER/ELIADES GALLERY was founded in 1977 in Athens and has since continued working dynamically in the field of contemporary art in Greece. After completing twenty-one years in its old space in Kolonaki, the commercial center of Athens, from January 1999 the gallery is housed in a Neoclassical building in Thission, the historic center of Athens at the foot of the Acropolis. y's function, Jean Bernier and Marina Eliades have introduced to the Greek public numerous artistic currents, such as Arte Povera, Minimalism, Land and Conceptual Art and the younger generation of American and European artists.

| INVITATION |

Bernier/Eliades is pleased to present “SYMMETRIES” in Brussels, a solo exhibition by Tony Cragg featuring a new series of works. The opening will take place during RendezVous - Brussels Art Week, on Thursday, 10 September 2026, from 17:00 to 21:00.

In this exhibition, Cragg approaches symmetry not as a static principle of reflection or order but as a generative condition within sculptural thinking, moving beyond the confines of the organic and utilitarian spheres. Symmetry appears here as something unstable, unpredictable, and active, produced through shifting relations between mass and void, repetition and deviation, structure and deformation. Rather than fixed equilibrium, the works suggest systems in constant negotiation, where balance is achieved through movement and transformation, conveying fluidity of layered shapes and intersecting axes.

Bernier/Eliades is pleased to announce the representation of Tony Cragg in Belgium and in Greece.

On this occasion, the gallery in Brussels presents “SYMMETRIES”, a solo exhibition by Tony Cragg featuring a new series of works. The opening will take place during RendezVous - Brussels Art Week, on Thursday, 10 September 2026, from 17:00 to 21:00. The exhibition runs through 19 December 2026.

Bernier/Eliades Gallery warmly congratulates Tony Cragg on being awarded the European Cultural Prize 2026.

The award, to be presented on 4 September at the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam by Felix Krämer, General Director of Kunstpalast, recognizes Tony Cragg as one of the most significant sculptors of our time. Through a practice spanning decades, he has continually redefined the language of sculpture, shaping contemporary art and inspiring generations worldwide.

We are delighted to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and extend our warmest congratulations to Tony Cragg on this achievement!
