Evelpidon 5, Ευελπίδων 5. 1950’s design, love the vintage brown and white, also repeated on the balcony grilles. Taking its inspiration from the Corinthian column.

For more than 2000 years the wild acanthus plant that thrives in the dry soil of Greece has been a favourite motif. According to legend the Athenian sculptor Callimachus created this design in the 5th Century B.C after seeing some acanthus leaves curling gracefully around a basket that had been left on the grave of a Corinthian girl.
