Breath of Light | The Sacred Site
And suddenly, at a turn of the remote mountains, it appears.
The Temple of Apollo Epicurius stands as one of the most mysterious and refined monuments of Ancient Greece
Emerged from the land itself, perched at an altitude of over 1,100 meters, the temple appears almost as an extension of the mountain itself in dialogue with the surrounding wilderness.
Attributed to Ictinus, the architect of the Parthenon of Athens, the temple masterfully combines all three classical orders, Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. Its unusual north–south orientation, rare for Greek temples, suggests a deeper ritual or cosmological intention, possibly aligned with local Arcadian traditions.
A place of profound energetic resonance It was built in gratitude to Apollo, the healer, the bringer of light, who came to aid the people in a time of plague.
Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, it was the first Greek monument to receive this distinction, affirming its universal significance.
On July 28th and 29th, 2026, Breath of Light, the new Anamnesis performance, will activate a field of perfect balance, a reawakening of what humanity keeps forgetting: how to come into unity, in one breath.
