Thanks to our dears Eva and Isik from Fourthland for hosting us and so many inspiring people at The Hive, some days ago in the Quadrangle in Kent.

We had the chance to participate in and propose diverse rituals of connection with our dreams, ancestors, place and the expanded community of beings around us: the river, the trees, the herbs and plants that fed us.

We miss our laughter and our shared tears, our walks and meditations, our silences and our humming. See you soon dear river Darent, dears Sarah, Jessica, Annabie, Magi, Patricia, Clare, Mireia, Cat, Craig, Ale, Azul, Solar, Guigui, Theo, Dorothy, David and so many new members of our expanded family…

On June 12-14 we participated in Thinking Care Beyond the Visible, a 3-day feminist training school at EIGHT / ΤΟ ΟΧΤΩ, critical institute for arts and politics.

We co-hosted with Penny Travlou the 2nd day, dedicated to “Thinking with Land and Other Species”. With the help of the Podoniftis stream in Nea Ionia, we offered a new work, A River Welcomes Us. There we presented a sequence of rituals to connect with our bodies in the city of Athens. Listening with intention to our voices, to the city and the river’s voices, we shared ways of relating and care. During our walk we followed the stories of the city, moving attentively through moments of transition, relating to and extending our bond with the human and non-human inhabitants of the stream through history, ritual and sharing. Our morning concluded with a shared reflection and picnic in the park of Probonas.

We give heartfelt thanks to Penny Travlou, Diana Georgiou and Christina Grammatikopoulou for the invitation to engage in conversation with this warm and brilliant community. We were very touched and inspired by all the participants’ presentations, endless discussions and the new complicities and synergies which quickly emerged. Looking forward to continue this shared path of feminist research and collaboration!

(And thanks a lot to Natalia Damigou-Papoti for her beautiful pictures)

Thanks a lot to our dear Freida Ford for inviting us last weekend to guide some exercises during the encounter Strategies for sustaining the artist-run space. It was a pleasure to discuss about what worries and motivates us, with the participants and members of and .e.a._initiative 🥰

We look forward to the results of this exciting and much needed project and look forward to continue discussing together under your warm tent!

Thanks to everyone who came to our book presentation at on Saturday 9. We had a moving afternoon of intimate sharing in a lively environment, hosted by the trees, neighbors and children’s laughs.

Special thanks to our surprise guests Silvia Federico and George Caffentzis, who also tried out some of our books’ exercises. We enjoyed listening to Silvia describing the dream she invented for her best friend: for her to walk in a beautiful forest on her way to a feminist gathering!!

Stay tuned for more activations around our book Picnicking Matters, and remember that it’s on sale at Meteoritis, Kombrai, Lemoni, Berlin, House of Literature, Οι Εκδόσεις των Συναδέλφων and from Saturday on in Hyper Hypo!

Book Presentation at Meteoritis: Picnicking Matters: Big Questions and Tiny Revelations around Care and Healing Ecologies

Saturday 9th, May
7 pm: conversation and participatory session at , Fokionos Negri 68, Kypseli.

Join us for the presentation of our book exploring care, healing, and collective practice, rooted in feminist dialogue, reflection, and nonlinear, picnic-like engagement.

Come to discuss the book making process and to try out together some of the scores shared in the book as invitations to collectively explore learning, care, imagination and more. This time we’ll adapt them to engage with the bookshop and its context, the pedestrian street Fokionos Negri, with its plants, trees and joyful atmosphere.

This publication is the result of a long process of collective reflection. It began with a series of workshops designed to open space for writing, dialogue, and attentive listening. These encounters allowed us to explore our internal dynamics, revisit our intentions and political positioning, and reflect on how our relationships – among ourselves and with others – have evolved. Throughout this process, we welcomed not only insights and inspiration, but also moments of uncertainty, emotional weight, and the need to slow down.

This book carries all of that: the thinking, the feeling, the pauses, the contradictions. The result is a polyphonic, situated, and experimental publication: a living archive of our ways of working, thinking, sensing, and healing together. It is a shared attempt to articulate what it means – and what it takes – to become and remain a collective in times of social, ecological, and cultural breakdown.

Carefully edited and beautifully designed, the book functions as a container for the voices, images, concepts, and rituals that have emerged from our journey. Interwoven throughout
the book are images from our gatherings, mappings of recurring ideas and questions, and references to artists, theorists, activists, and somatic practitioners who have nourished our work.

Come Saturday 9th of May!

(Re-) Connecting through Inner Landscapes

solid | blooming | fluid | stagnant | burning | moving | dissolving | expanding |

Writing has always been a way of discovering — a tool to explore words, pathways within ourselves, and ways of reaching toward others.

“Inner Landscapes: Collective Writing through the Elements” began as a series of workshops and gradually became something more: a shared space of sharing, witnessing and presence. People came and went, played with their pens and pencils, experimented, wrote, listened. Along the way, a small collective body emerged — a “we”.

We worked through the elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether — as resonances within us. Through writing, we explored what sustains us, what moves us, what transforms us, what expands within us, and what connects all these parts. Now, rooted in our desire to share this process, our texts, and our curiosity for new encounters, we invite you to join us.

On Wednesday, May 6th at 19:30, at Fydani (Chiou 27, Metaxourgeio), we open an installation with texts, meditations we shared, and guidance given during our time together, in ways that prompts you to explore the texts firsthand. You are invited to move through the space, to read, to pause, to write and to engage at your own pace and level of comfort.

Writing materials will be available, inviting you to experiment, contribute, and play.

Towards the end, we will gather in a circle and read from the texts — not necessarily our own, but those we feel called to in that moment.

Thanks a lot to all the assistants to our book launch last week! It was lovely to see so many friends and to welcome many new ones. We are delighted to know that the interest in what we do continues growing with a nice energy and full of tenderness.

In the short workshops, among other things, we briefly discussed what gets in the way of living and working collectively, how female cats take care of their humans, how trauma can create empathy among difference and about what do we learn from negotiations in love relations. Afterwards we talked about the creation of the book, accompanied by our dear who joined us from Madrid.

We were so excited that we forgot to take pictures that day, so we share the few we have, including a ghostly one ;)
Thanks to for the first picture and to for the last one, we are happy to see our book already at the beach!

We’ll soon announce where you can find Picnicking Matters. Big Questions and Tiny Revelations Around Care and Healing Ecologies. For now, you can buy it directly from us, coming to pick it up on Fridays’ afternoon (usually) at .space : Chiou 27, Athens. Please DM to coordinate!
