Last December in Utrecht we shared a magical Zambomba night full of villancicos, flamenco rhythms, warmth, and community — and now you can relive it with us ❤️

🎥 One full hour of our beautiful show is already on YouTube, open for everyone to enjoy from home.
Bring some tea (or wine 🍷), sit back, and travel with us to the festive spirit of Andalusia.

This special evening was created in co-production with Instituto Cervantes, and we’re deeply grateful for the collaboration that helped bring this tradition to life in the Netherlands.

✨ What a joy, what an honor! ✨
Having the wonderful Irene Alvarez joining us from Belgium for our Zambomba in Amsterdam was truly special.
Her presence, artistry, and energy lit up the stage and blended beautifully with the spirit of this collective celebration.
This Zambomba was not just a performance — it was a meeting of hearts, rhythms, and stories. Sharing the stage with Irene, together with the rest of our AMAZING artists, reminded us why we do this: for connection, generosity, and pure flamenco joy.

🎄💃 ZAMBOMBA Θεσσαλονίκη 2024 💃🎄
5 Δεκεμβρίου | Θέατρο Άνετον

Η δεύτερη ΖΑΜΠΟΜΠΑ στη Θεσσαλονίκη ολοκληρώθηκε και οι καρδιές μας είναι γεμάτες. Αυτό που ζήσαμε ήταν κάτι παραπάνω από μια παράσταση — ήταν μια γιορτή αγάπης, τέχνης και κοινότητας.

Χάρη στη στήριξη του Ινστιτούτου Θερβάντες, καταφέραμε να φέρουμε δύο σπουδαίους καλλιτέχνες από την Ισπανία:

Οι μέρες μαζί τους ήταν γεμάτες έμπνευση, γνώση και συναισθήματα.

Η Θεσσαλονίκη έχει κάτι μαγικό. Υπάρχει εδώ ένας ζωντανός πυρήνας φλαμένκο, μια κοινότητα που αντέχει και αναπνέει μέσα από τα στούντιο Flamenco Volver και Pellizco.

Περάσαμε 4 μέρες όλοι μαζί – καλλιτέχνες, μαθητές, φίλοι, θεατές. Μοιραστήκαμε τραγούδια, γέλια, χορούς, τρέξιμο, αγκαλιές… και μια τεράστια αίσθηση του «μαζί».

Η ΖΑΜΠΟΜΠΑ δεν είναι μόνο παράδοση. Είναι ζωντανή, ανθρώπινη και μας φέρνει πιο κοντά.

I am more than grateful — and honestly, I don’t quite know how to put into words everything I’m feeling after our Zambomba in Amsterdam.

It’s the enthusiasm of my colleagues that truly enchants me.
It’s the love that carries us all, year after year, into this extraordinary celebration.

Tonight’s fiesta has left me deeply moved. Not only because I have the immense joy of standing side by side with friends — almost family — people I’ve known for nearly 20 years, who traveled to be part of our Zambomba, but also because with every passing year I feel more strongly that we are becoming one big family.

Two moments after the performance stayed with me and touched me deeply.
One person came to me and said that she waits for Zambomba every year because it makes her feel part of a family — something she sadly no longer has.
Another woman shared with me that she also grew up in an orphanage, and that the spirit and purpose of this event moved her profoundly.

These moments remind me why we do this.
Why this celebration matters.
Why Zambomba is not just a performance, but a gathering of hearts.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

✨ FINAL ZAMBOMBA IN GREECE TONIGHT — ATHENS! ✨
What a journey this has been… Tonight we close the Greek Zambomba chapter for 2025 in Athens, celebrating on stage with some of my beloved girlfriends — Thetis, Jessica, Marisa & Fannie. 💃❤️

The energy, the love, the laughter, the rehearsals, the chaos, the sisterhood… everything led to this moment.
And YES — tickets are officially SOLD OUT! 🎟️✨
We are deeply grateful for your support, your trust, and the warmth you've given us in every city.

Thank you, Athens. Thank you, Greece.

💃 Καλωσορίζουμε τη Φανή Δεμέστιχα στη Zambomba Flamenca Αθήνας!

Κυριακή 7 Δεκεμβρίου – Θέατρο Playground for the arts

Με μεγάλη χαρά ανακοινώνουμε τη συμμετοχή της εξαιρετικής φλαμένκο χορεύτριας Φανής Δεμέστιχα, μιας από τις πιο δραστήριες παρουσίες της ελληνικής σκηνής του φλαμένκο!

Η Φανή, γεννημένη στην Αθήνα, ξεκίνησε χορό στα 15 και σπούδασε κλασικό μπαλέτο, μοντέρνο χορό και φλαμένκο, ενώ κατέχει δίπλωμα διδασκαλίας φλαμένκο από τη Spanish Dance Society.
Διδάσκει και χορεύει με αφοσίωση επί σειρά ετών, μέσα από το Arroyo DanceTheatre, όπου έχει συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη της κοινότητας του φλαμένκο στη χώρα.

Στη φετινή Zambomba θα φέρει τη δική της προσωπική σφραγίδα, γεμάτη ρυθμό, πάθος και αυθεντική σκηνική ενέργεια — όπως μόνο εκείνη ξέρει να προσφέρει.
