SIFFCY (Smile International Film Festival for Children & Youth) is a special film platform initiated by the leading development organization - 'Smile Foundation
- India' to engage, educate, encourage & empower through meaningful films & film related workshops. The week-long annual Film Festival takes place at the Sirifort Auditorium, New Delhi, India during December every year that caters to more than 30000 participants through 150+ films from across the globe, 15+ different filmmaking & other related capacity building workshops, panels and forums in 7 days. It attracts filmmakers, artists, Industry professionals and audiences members from across the globe. Devoted to a greater appreciation of world cinema made for children & youth, SIFFCY has been able to create a benchmark in its category by showcasing best of world cinema made for young audiences, supporting emerging filmmakers, recognizing the pioneers and leaders of the industry. It caters to young people (aged 6 to 25) with just about every level of interest in film, whether to watch and enjoy, create their own work or take things a stage further and find out more about a career in the film or television industry.
