While we are fervently preparing the sketches Dylan and his team are hard at work with the Cross as you can see from Lee’s photo...Dylan constructed this and is now gessoing the surface ready for the egg tempera and gold leaf. It will take them 8 men to turn it over...fortunately we have a handling mechanism which the Dean of Lichfield says is enormous and looks a bit like a dockyard!
