Vassilis Skoumantzos was born in Agrinio, Greece, in 1983. He is a member of Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and he specializes in Byzantine Icons and decoration of Orthodox Churches with Byzantine murals. He has graduated from the four-year School of Byzantine Iconography "Kosmas Aitolos" of the Holy Metropolis of Aitolia and Akarnania. He earned a degree in Byzantine Iconography at 2012. Since 2

007 Vassilis Skoumantzos has worked on several iconographic projects and has collaborated with other professional iconographers. He has also participated in group exhibitions.
