Today, we are proud to welcome Mojo Art Studio into the Taaru Afrique space — a space dedicated to creativity, discovery, and cultural expression.
Mojo began in August 2024 during the summer break with a simple but powerful vision: to uncover and nurture the unique talents of children through art. What we see here today is more than an exhibition; it is the confidence of young minds, the joy of self-expression, and the early shaping of future creatives.
At Taaru Afrique, we believe that artistic journeys should begin early — with hands exploring, experimenting, and learning. We are especially excited about the introduction of pottery, a medium that connects children not only to creativity, but to touch, form, patience, and the long tradition of working with the earth — something deeply rooted in African artistic heritage.
By encouraging children to create, we are not only building artists; we are building thinkers, storytellers, and custodians of culture.
We congratulate Mojo Art Studio, the young exhibitors, and the families who continue to support their creative growth. Taaru Afrique is honoured to be part of this journey.

Title: "Guiding Light"

This sophisticated work of art was done by Ebrima Gitteh.

In the captivating painting, "Guiding Light," a woman stands as the embodiment of Marina International School, exemplifying its motto of "Trustworthiness, Scholarship, and Service."

Her right hand extends with warmth, symbolizing the school's commitment to trust and a welcoming spirit for students.

In her left hand, she holds a lantern, a beacon illuminating the path of knowledge, embodying scholarship.

This artwork beautifully captures the essence of education as a guiding force, nurturing trust, scholarship, and service within the school's community.

This breathe taking piece of art was donated by Taaru Afrique to the Marina International School's Alumni Association for its 1st annual fundraising gala and was won by Miss Oli Chongan
