Day Six (6)
Today we’re in West Coast Region, at Gambia College Brikama Campus, for the last and final day of Network of Movie Stars - Gambia’s nationwide tour across the country.

The team meet with Drama Groups/ Movie Production stakeholders and discussions were centred on supporting and promote the work of Drama Groups, as well as the challenges that young people are facing in the movie industry.

Our National Coordinator, called on Drama Groups and Film makers to take up the responsibilities by providing strategic and innovative ideas , build up a strong foundation amd encourage membership drive and organisational development at their level.

Network of Movie Stars - Gambia, will continue to offer support to Drama groups, provided that, they registered with NoMSG.

Our Public Relations Officer and Head of delegation Mrs. Aja Fofana, said there are a lot of things to be done for young people in the movie industry, but everything can't be address at once. She decribe the tour as very successful and thanked the entire team for making it possible from starting to end.

Day Five ( 5)

As part of our commitment to strengthening collaboration between Drama and Movie Production groups at all level, Network of Movie Stars - Gambia today hold a very successful meeting at Soma mini stadium Lower River Region.

The meeting was very well attended by many young people in the movie industry, it is also describe as a critical step toward ensuring unity among all actors and actresses.

The team equally pay a courtesy call to the Chief of Jarra West , Alhagie Yaya Jarjusey.

Nationwide tour continues to URR Day Four (4)

A Delagation Led by the Public Relations Officer Mrs Aja Fofana, accompanied by the tour team had a very positive and successful meeting with the Drama and movie production Groups in Basse, Upper River Region.

The Meeting focuses mainly on

✅ Grassroots Collaboration to promote Positive Impacts in supporting movie industry in the Gambia.

✅ Strengthen Partnership between Drama Groups , promote the work of community drama groups and the general protection of actors and actresses.

✅ Participants acknowledges the relevance of the visit, and extend commitment for the further engagement. The tour team equally pay a courtesy call to regional Authorities of URR at Governors Office

Day three (3) Wrap-Up: Engagement with Drama and Movie Production Groups at Central River Region.
Network of Movie Stars - Gambia nationwide tour continues today with a fantastic engagement at Janjanbureh Youth Centre, the Delegation is lead by Mrs. Aja Free Fofana, Public Relations Officer and also Head of the Delegation, accompany by the tour team.

The engagement concluded with courtesy call visit to the Honorable Governor of Central River Region, Honorable Ousman Bah, who equally encourages the team to work together collectively, with commitment and dedication. Honorable Bah, final promise to support the initiative.

Network of Movie Stars - Gambia continues its nationwide tour, today’s meeting was held at Wassu Central River Region North.

The meeting provided a platform for Drama/ movie production stakeholders to engage in discussions, idea sharing , and explore avenues for collaboration, by creating innovative initiatives to promote the move industry of the Gambia.

The team later pay a courtesy call to the Honorable Chairman of Kuntaur Area Council, at his office In Kuntaur .

Network of Movie Stars - Gambia today kick start six (6) days Nationwide tour, to dialogue and discuss with Drama/ movie production groups on Challenges and their priority areas to support with ideas for promotion and protection of actors and actresses in the Gambia.

Also, encourage them to register with Network of Movies Stars- Gambia, to benefit from membership Drive and Capacity Development Programs .

Earlier yesterday afternoon, Network of Movie Stars - Gambia held a meeting at Gambia College, to discuss on the upcoming nationwide tour and capacity building training for members.
