*ENEMIES WITH MY SANITY*

Dark in the night
Bright in the daylight
In solitude I ponder, connect, reconnect, recollect
And siever my thoughts of morality
I warned!!
Procrastination builds no hut!
Not until tomorrow but today
Mr. Architect has been settled with a huge sum
The supplies, equipment and facilities are in hand
Wait for no second
Let's command work in progress
My words got thrown in a trash bin
In vain and vanity
Mr. Expert has absconded
No money! No factory!
Befell us is calamity
Our community weep in naivety
Have you heed it would have been
Averted for eternity and the legacy would live for posterity
No! no, no, no.
For me you see in stupidity
But I reason higher than humidity
I am human and embrace humanity
The love for my community is my national identity

I don't regret!
My thoughts rained positivity
You knew but chose negativity
All because you harboured and caged hatred in your chest
Against my sanity

When I met him
My heart beat violently
My mind circumbanbulated and my thoughts entangled
And rolled quickly to a yarn
Then wove to a mat
Hence, feeling the interlacement of the warps and wepts
I slept over it and my instinct told me
He isn't the Saint he appeared to be
That person with a golden heart
Trustworthy to trusted with the key to heaven

I warned!!
Take heed before he ruin our entire family
He wouldn't only betray us but damage, devastate, dilapidate
And frustrate our family for eternity
You tend not to heed
Here it comes
He put Fatou and Mariama in the family way
Penda and Kumba are champions in the game
Even innocent Amie is a full ninety player

All only to be known when he scooped our father's
Central Bank and lamborhgin and got dissolved from our sight
Now everyone tends to be caught amazed
Have you had heed it would have been averted
You only didn't because you are enemies with my sanity

Against not my sanity
For a dog to enjoy playing the hide and seek game on a tree
He must heed the lectures of the monkey
Even though they proved to be arch rivals

I am rational!
My instinct never fail!
Learn not to against my sanity!

Do not lose your smile running through all of these hurdles Looking at all the people running along with you See how they run and hop and still stand up tall If they can do it smiling, then so can you too.

Assalamualaikum to the contemporary Muslims ummah!
As we apparently pe*****te into this Holy, Splendid, and Blessing month of RAMADAN. I'm hereby seeking for forgiveness to all the Muslims that are gigantic offended by my selfish, heedlessness and unanticipated actions from my side.

Notwithstanding, since we Human we're fallible, we're absolutely not perfect, so it shouldn't be taken for granted, for not asking for forgiveness, Wallaihi brother and sister as well as the Muslims ummah we shouldn't let shaytan to deliberately prophylactic or preventing us from seeking for forgiveness to fellow Muslims. Because we have to remember that we are fallible, we might hurt, wrong, depressed, and despise our fellow Muslims whether knowingly or unknowingly and failure to seek for forgiveness will do only put us in midst of intricacies and the ramification is there awaiting only seeking for forgiveness is the means of eradicating the ramification.

Finally, with bonafide intention I'm extensively stretching my hands up to the culminate. Simply, to apparently asking for forgiveness to all offended Muslims, and vice versa, I too have forgiven all Muslims who did the same implications to me either knowingly or unknowingly.
May Allah the Almighty, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient and benevolent accept all our sincere prayers and grant us guidance from falling to the path of deviation throughout the holy month of RAMADAN as well as in our entire life In Shaa Allah ameen

*A MIDNIGHT ENCOUNTER WITH MY LATE GRANDFATHER*

Standing by the sea,
My soul feeling its radiant breeze,
In a distance I saw him coming,
Reaching at my spot,
He shook my hand up and down profusely,
While shaking his head vigorously.
His countenance expressed dissatisfaction emotionally.

He said,
"My grandson,
When I was a youth in the streets of Banjul,
People only gather for events of victory celebrations and ceremonies.
As one people we rejoice,
For peace we always enjoy".

"My grandson,
For smoke we only see in the kitchen,
For the use of tyres we only know on carts,
And also being spun by little children who run merrily in the streets, shouting and singing.
And not often,
On metals with sounding engines,
That runs faster than the carts".

"My grandson,
For blood we only see at the abattoir,
Perfume was the gas we smell,
Masks were only worn by masquerades for festival celebrations.
And drums and whistles accompany their dance".

*I CRY FOR GAMBIA*

Cochleas catch our skyrocketed profuse wails,
Spinning in firmament like the dusk dust mosaic,
For we are the lost quaking sphere's denizens,
Home of affluence splendid as dungeon of gaol,
The sinking horizon of self acclaimed blacks' giant.

My common sense has been abused but who really cares?
The smiling coast of Africa is sinking;
The smiling coast of Africa is crying;
The smiling coast of Africa is bleeding;
And no one seems to care.

At what point do we use our collective humanity?
Our streets are flooded with blood of innocent people,
Our homes fussed up with chaos and confusion,
Darkness and insecurity.

The sinking land of honey and colloquium flows,
Where helpless bees are of the fresh honey deprived,
By the grizzled gagoons and greedy guerillas surfing,
And aversive dragon blazing the helpless bees' hives,
Assassinating the hope of having a good morrow,
Jealousy and hearted ripping off the heart.

Innocent souls killed and buried, that which bring up
The roaring of the Lion in the jungle to play fast and desperate and lose the belt to Hare aftermath.

The welkin hearken the echoes and voices,
Voices of the hissing intestines of the orphans,
The orphans of the drowning land in whose it trumpets,
Hungers panging in the hollow bowels nocturnal and diurnal.

The Gambia has fallen into the dark realm,
With the drive of the bastardized bastards.
The Gambia has sunk into the dungeon of disaster,
In the hands of the clueless soul's of no discernment,
Heaven upon ye we call for revival mid survival!

And the government say sorry to this one tragedy,
The same sorry they said last week and week before last,
The same sorry last year and year before last.
I cry for you Gambia!

Corruption is our common ratio permutations,
Daily rhyme of our radios and televisions,
Flying papers are dark, broadcasts opaque,
Glomth descending on our roofs like woeful haggard.

I am just a voice speaking for the orphan left homeless

*KUDANG CRY*

Subsequent to the premier ex*****on,
I had my hands nestled on my head.
I wailed to the last of my volume
From winter to autumn.
I was shown no decorum,
And to the twice and thrice,
Until now, in limbo I'm living.

I'm sad and my eyes are heavy, clouded with grief.
I'm in terror for I have been massively terrified.
I'm in fear and tears for my territory
Has been seized by a wolverine predator without fear.

Our rights and privileges to freedom of movement
Has been scolded.
The man among men champion my perimeter.
Gallivanting merrily with his marshall boots, face mask, machete, and a short khaki without a shirt.
As has been claimed to be have been seen at the outskirts of my settlement.

Come to my aid, God!
To get hold of this giant man, evil man;
Humongous butcher;
Gigantic beast;
Colossal monster;
Enormous vampire;
And bloodthirst mercenary.

It's horribly intimidating!
An innocent man shredded like ropes!
Lacerated like gullies!
Left for buzzing flies to mourn!

Oh God of mercy!
Fortify my children,
Fortify the pupils coming from my channelled settlements
For their daily schooling and those for home needs.
For our lives are at threat!

I know not who might be the fourth,
But certain it wouldn't be the commander in my vicinity
Neither her son.
I know not who might be the fourth,
But certain that it wouldn't be a minister neither his son.
I know not who might be the fourth,
But certain that it wouldn't be Mr. President nor his son.

Oh God shower your protection on us!

Truth be told, seriously I long for Babili Mansa,
An ultimatum he would give,
And in a moment the culprit would be settled,
And get accorded with a VIP treatment.

Feeble is too civilise a word to describe
The security modus operandi of our country.

I AM A PROUD AFRICANIST

I am a proud Africanist,
From the mama lands flowing with gold and diamonds, lands of my ancestors.
Embedded with beautiful and rich cultures

I am a proud Africanist,
I have built civilizations, toiled for nothing and reaped the wind.
The struggle for survival runs in my veins
The spirit of patriotism highly articulated in my heart

I am a proud Africanist,
Others mistake me for a bigot, a slave, or a thinkless brat.
But in actually I'm not
I'm the hope for Africa
The symbol of unity and love
The symbol of peace.

I am a proud Africanist,
I have birthed inventions, and my name is not associated with any.
I'm born to be a ruler not be rule

I am a proud Africanist
I am strong, daring, fearless, and my veins drip with ripped marrows.

I am a proud Africanist,
My wisdom is in my colour – dark, black and fits with any variance.

I am a proud Pan Africanist,
I am the hope of the world, I still treasure the jungle filled with greens.

I am a proud Pan Africanist,
My shape is a bottle, I treasure the rhythms of my protruding buttocks.
Dancing to the beautiful rhythms of the drums.

I am a proud Pan Africanist,
I speak with divine accents, feed with the roles of nature and sleep free.
Beautiful rivers and seas with fresh waters I live in

LETTER TO MR PRESIDENT
Dear Mr President,
As I lift up my pen,
My heart is heavy,
My face is swollen,
And tears are rolling down my cheeks.
I can't just measure my unflinching sadness seeing you
And corrupt ministers dressed in an academic regalia.

Dressing in all white and blue with your pockets deeply impregnated with citizens taxes,
Frivously gallivanting, craving to be address as honorables
When you are terrible horribles.

When the spirit and power of money overshadow weak minds, greedy and corrupted souls, corruption is given a breath.

Mr President, we voted you with the hope for a better change,
Instead you are driving from worse to worst.
We voted you with the hope you could dream in reality
And lead us to the promise land,
Instead, you are sluggish and slumbering in daydreams.

Dear Mr President,
Our education system has been corrupted to the core,
Lack of enough facilities in the system,
Students are like poor refuges in refuge camps.
Their needs aren't met,
In the end, many of them lose conciousness
And move onto sell their integrity and honesty for a little or no gain.

We lives in a Gambia where the respect for human rights are just put in a paper.
Citizens life's are at risks,
Too much killing of innocent souls.
Mr President, security reinforcement is a public demand.

Rethink your actions and do the right thing because the future is keenly watching with us.
