The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FiPAG) paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts to deepen collaboration and help move the country’s film industry forward.
The meeting focused on how to better support the sector, from policy direction to the everyday challenges filmmakers face, and what practical steps can be taken to build a stronger, more sustainable industry. The Deputy Minister, Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah, stressed the importance of using data to guide decisions on investment, skills training, and infrastructure development, noting that current funding levels are still not enough to meet the industry’s growing needs.
FiPAG reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Ministry and other agencies to close existing gaps and unlock the full potential of Ghana’s film industry.
