This was the late Banvim Lung at the first Samban Lung of Naa Bapre Banvim Lana on 30th January 2026. As soon as he appeared, the atmosphere changed. People, including his own children, showered him with money as a sign of love, respect, and appreciation for the man who dedicated his life to drumming, singing, and preserving our culture.His warm welcome to the newly enskinned Banvim Lana showed the character, dignity, and wisdom that made him so beloved across Dagbon.Sadly, the same Banvim Lung passed away this morning.
