Analyzing the Situation: first, it was YAMAL handball before he was kicked.

We have seen many times when the Ref took decisions based on what happened first.
Like Argentina vs Egypt where a goal was denied because of what happened before

2nd..The player didn't know yamal was there when he tried to kick the ball and ended up kicking Yamal who dived infront

No doubt, Spain out played France but football most times is not about who was outplayed. REF decisions has a way of destabilizing teams which is the case of France here.

France lost control of the midfield, and I believe the best option to help with ball recoveries would have been Kanté. But the manager chose to keep him on the bench.
Spain made the most of their advantage and made France look average. It was a well-deserved win for them.
