Happy World Wetlands Day!!!

Today, we officially start off a 5-day commemoration, celebrating the value of wetlands! Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing fascinating wetland facts and highlighting two key projects at the Centre dedicated to protecting these vital ecosystems.

We’ll wrap up the commemoration by joining the national World Wetlands Day celebrations in Anloga on 6 February 2026, organised by the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission Ghana.
