We were delighted to welcome FiMA , who visited us with a group of young children and their parents to explore heritage and culture.

It was truly a joy to witness the children play, dance, and respond so freely to the rhythms of African drums.
Their energy brought life into the space, as they engaged with stories, stories that proudly carries the names of their own African heroes.

Moments like these remind us of the importance of nurturing identity, confidence, and cultural connection from a young age.

We are deeply grateful to FiMA for bringing these bright and innocent young African souls into our space! Ayekooo!

"The Kayaye in Arts Project," led by Prince Ahortor (Municipal Director of CEA), is a collaborative initiative between the Complementary Education Agency (CEA) of the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly and the Nkyinkyim Museum.

This long-term partnership aims to offer young kayaye girls alternative avenues for self-expression, learning, and livelihood through a series of art workshops and therapeutic courses.
