In a recent interview on the Afrobeats Podcast with host Adesope Olajide (Shopsydoo), Shatta Wale clearly defined the current power structure in the Ghanaian music industry.

He declared that Sarkodie is the Decision Maker, while positioning himself as the Negotiator. Shatta Wale explained that Sarkodie holds strategic and directional influence in the game, whereas he sees his own role as the one who creates major conversations, pushes boundaries, and negotiates opportunities for the culture.

The statement has sparked widespread reactions online, coming at a time of renewed camaraderie between the two former rivals. While many Sarkodie fans view it as a sign of respect, Shatta Wale supporters argue that the Negotiator role is equally powerful given his global influence and ability to generate buzz. The comments have also brought Stonebwoy and other artists into the conversation as fans debate their positions in the industry.

Ghanaian actress and social media personality Akuapem Poloo has opened up about nearly going under the knife for bu.ttocks enlargement surgery because of pressure from a former boyfriend.

In a candid interview with Nana Romeo on Atuu, Poloo revealed that her ex offered to fully pay for the procedure, and she came very close to accepting.

“I was dating a man who told me to go and do buttocks enhancement surgery and that he would pay for it. I nearly did it, but I thought about it thoroughly and decided not to,” she disclosed.

She explained that the pressure grew after she noticed the kind of women her then-boyfriend followed online.

“Sometimes you get frustrated, especially when you realise he only follows women who have done sùrgery… We ladies normally check the kind of women our men follow,” she added.

Poloo further claimed that many men subtly push their partners toward body enhancements while denying any involvement.

“Some men frustrate their partners to enhance their body, but they would tend to deny the fact that they made you do it. They surround themselves with women who have enhanced bodies, but they don’t end up marrying such women.”

Despite the experience, she noted that while many men admire sùrgically enhanced figures, most ultimately prefer and respect women with natural bodies.

If You Delay Marriage Too Long, Someone Else Will be Nacking Your Wife — KKD

Speaking on Power FM’s Saturday Entertainment Show, he dropped this reality check for the youth:

"Don’t spend all your 20s and 30s chasing perfection in marriage. If you wait too long, life will move ahead of you. The person you’re destined for might end up in someone else’s arms while you’re still ‘finding yourself’."

His quote that broke the internet:
"If you delay marriage for too long, fools will sleep with your wife before you meet her."

KKD wasn’t saying rush into marriage blindly. He was saying: when you’re ready, mature, and have found someone good… don’t overthink it into missing your blessing.
