WORLD DANCE DAY 2025 CELEBRATION MARKED!!

The National Theatre of Ghana marked World Dance Day 2025 celebrations with the management, staff, and patients at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital. The day was marked with a dance performance and workshop by The National Dance Company, one of the resident companies of the National Theatre. The reason for the celebration with some patients from the facility was to emphazise the importance of dance to society, and its therapeutic benefit effect as well. Through the workshop, some talents were identified among the patients. The National Theatre of Ghana, with management of the hospital, is committed to creating an extensive plan for the "Dance Therapy" initiative.
We say a big thank you to the management and staff of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for the support and and to the Twellium Industrial Company Limited for refreshing the patients.
