Launched in 2012, AllRise Media Consult - AMC, formerly Crabbita Media Consult and Crabbi Media Consult, is one of Ghana’s brand communications and reputation management companies. We promote Black and African arts, entertainment, and entrepreneurs/businesses. We develop concepts, generate event ideas, promote events and businesses, organise media publicity, and manage brands’ reputations for orga

nisations and individuals through effective strategic communication. AMC offers its reading audience stories about Black and African entrepreneurs, arts and entertainment. We cover limited but significant political milestones. We are keenly interested in women’s brands and issues affecting women, the girl child, and the vulnerable globally.

16-year-old Black teen from Virginia Wins Gold Medal as Youngest Male From US to Compete in Olympics Track and Field Event

In case you missed it. He dedicated his win to all of us!

Biniam Girmay, a bicyclist Eritrea native, has etched his name in history as he becomes the first Black rider to win a Tour de France stage.

Girmay raced the 144-mile leg of the tour from Piacenza to Turin, the longest stage of this year’s race.

NBC News reports that Girmay was thrust into the spotlight two years ago after becoming the first Black and African rider to win in a Grand Tour, the term for the three major three-week races: the Giro, the Tour, and the Spanish Vuelta.

KNUST Wins 2024 World Student Packaging Awards Competition In Thailand

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) triumphs over global Ivy League universities to win the 2024 World Student Packaging Awards Competition in Thailand.

The team earned a gold medal for Best Food Packaging, a silver medal for Sustainable Packaging, and a bronze medal for packaging that saves food.

Meet The Boy Who Sells Lemonade To Buy Diapers For Single Mums

Cartier Carey, a young entrepreneur from Hampton, Virginia, spent his free time during the summer selling lemonade to raise money to buy diapers, wipes, and other supplies for parents, particularly single mothers, who were struggling financially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Then 11-year-old, he founded Kids 4 Change after hearing from friends about the challenges their single mothers faced. While his parents were together, he realized how much harder it is to raise children alone, especially during the pandemic.

He envisioned opening a lemonade stand, and with the support of his parents and siblings, he made it happen. From his front lawn, he sold lemonade and candy next to a sign that read: "Raising Money for Single Mothers."

Carey deserves accolades!

Woman Is First Black Student To Receive PhD In Computer Science And Engineering At US University

Trailblazer Dr Shamaria Engram etched her name in history when she became the first Black woman to graduate from the Computer Science and Engineering doctoral programme at the University of South Florida since the programme launched 40 years ago.

Her achievement made waves and earned her headlines in 2021, inspiring many worldwide.
