Thanks to you, and through the work the team does for you and yours on 3FM 92.7's Community Rights Advocacy Platform; & , the Radio & Television Personalities (RTP) award scheme, has nominated me to receive honours as RADIO DEVELOPMENTAL SHOW HOST of the year!

We couldn't have done it without you. And we couldn't have impacted your lives positively, if you hadn't allowed us into your corner to share in your problems and find solutions for same.

Certainly, there is great honour in the nomination. However the greatest honour to us will be when you keep faith with us, in order to tilt the honour in our favour.

Will keep you posted soon. God bless!

Go and vote. It's your right and civic responsibility. It's OK to take a side and stand by your choice. But the fact is, floating voters never drown so don't put your vote on autopilot. That's an insult on yourself!

Mid morning musing: Some of my friends have purposed in their hearts that they will spell my first name as "Johnny" even when the writing on the wall reads "Johnnie". I am unable to tell what the challenge is, but I guess it may be lack of attention to detail and respect for me and my late father who chose that name for me. And oh, never mind that the pronunciation is the same. Because I just left a banking hall in anger because the teller says the name on the cheque supposed to have been issued in my name, is not in sync with what's on my ID. I have seen people lose so many chances just because of a missing alphabet!

Today on Community Connect on 3fm 92.7 at 5:00 pm with Johnnie Hughes...

Not a week passes without reports of deaths on the Accra-Tema motorway; a place that has become synonymous with multiple road accidents. We generate a lot of money from that stretch, and yet, we keep losing so many productive lives and property. Do you have any fear driving/riding on the motorway?

1. Are there any plans to make the motorway safer for us all?
2. What happens to all the money generated?
3. What's our emergency response plan for the place?
4. What role must the MTTD, DVLA and the ROAD SAFETY COMMISSION play in terms of revoking licence of multiple offenders for example?
5. How about us, the people who are perpetrators and victims at once? What does it say of us? What do we want done?

Today on Community Connect with Johnnie Hughes on 3fm 92.7 at 5:00pm we find answers to:

1. Why rubbish is taking over the City, especially, the Kaneshie Market?
2. Whether the AMA and its collaborators are no longer in charge?
3. What it means to have your home and food joint sandwiched by a poorly kept public toilet and a rubbish heap?
4. Why the AMA office complex project at Kaneshie has been stalled and the frontage turned into a dump site?
