After the event, this is what she had to say:

A remarkable moment unfolded today at Akropong.

I Sharon Dede Padi, Guinness World Records holder Yaa Padiki of Padiki Art Gallery was officially unveiled as the Ambassador for Visual Arts for the Odwira Festival @200 celebration. To mark this milestone, I captivated the audience with a live painting of Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, the Okuapehene, showcasing the power of art in preserving culture and honoring tradition.

This appointment reflects the vital role of visual arts in celebrating our heritage and inspiring future generations. Congratulations to Padiki on this well-deserved recognition, and best wishes for a successful Odwira @200 celebration.

Chains carried, history confronted, justice demanded.
Honored to stand at the center of "The Unborn Ancestors" as we open the International Reparations Conference in Accra — where art becomes testimony and silence becomes accountability. This installation holds the weight of what was taken, so the conversation about what is owed can finally move forward.
