We love looking back at past Proms and look what Georgie's Guernsey has found! It's amazing to think how Proms has changed over the years and how next year it will be 20 years old! A huge thank you to all the sponsors over the years and everyone who has come along and supported the event 🎼🎷🎺🎻🎹

Last Saturday I was commissioned by ND Events to photograph Guernsey’s Proms on the Wicket .
I first covered this event in 2013 for the late Alex Bridle who ran The Guernsey Event Company.
Over years it has metamorphosed from ‘Proms on the Pier’ to ‘Proms on the Bay’ to ‘Proms in the Square’ and in the latter years, ‘ Proms on the Wicket’

Fantastic photos, as always, from Georgie's Guernsey of Proms on Saturday night. A huge thank you to everyone who braved the cold and came to watch Guernsey Symphonic Winds and waved their flags and sang to the second half of the Proms, and a huge thank you to HIGHVERN Guernsey Arts and Guernsey Press for their support and KGV Guernsey for hosting. We'll see you all again next year for the 20th anniversary!

The sound check for Guernsey Symphonic Winds is done and Encanto is playing on the big screen. It’s beautiful at the KGV Guernsey, the bar is open and bbq going so come and join us! West Side Story at 5pm, concert at 7.30pm and the second half of the last night of the proms at 9pm. Donations at the gate. See you later!

If you've not seen the 2021 remake of West Side Story you're in for a real treat! On the big screen at KGV Guernsey at 5pm on Saturday 14 September. An Oscar winner with spectacular dancing and songs you all know. Come down and watch it before the live concert from Guernsey Symphonic Winds at 7.30pm and grab some food at the BBQ and a drink at the bar.
