We are excited to welcome E. Mikeladze Central Music School from Tbilisi, Georgia as a participant in our 2026 Golden Gate Festival! Excited to return to the festival, E. Mikeladze looks forward to sharing Georgia’s rich history of choral folk music, a reflection of the country's soul and spirit. Their time-honored method of musical education includes learning without sheet music, following Georgia’s oral traditions. We’re looking forward to visiting with our Georgian friends again!

“We really like your amazing festival and will participate for the fourth time with great pleasure,” says Mikeladze Choir. We look forward to reconnecting with our good friends from Georgia!

Look for a link to hear E. Mikeladze in our stories!

PEBCC’s Golden Gate Festival is so much more than a week of collaborative rehearsals and performances! Special activities include potluck picnics, boat excursions on the Bay, outings with host families like a hike in the redwoods or a trip to the beach, and a dance after the Closing Ceremony. Even simple time at home together can be special; one parent recalls, “even after an entire day of rehearsals, my daughters and our two homestays spent the evening dancing and singing Taylor Swift songs–in harmony of course!–in the kitchen while they baked chocolate chip cookies together. It was magical!”

The Golden Gate Festival strives to build bridges in a world of borders by bringing together young singers from around the globe to share in cultural exchange through the joy of singing. Strangers become family as singers spend a week in close collaboration singing, learning and living together with their peers from far and wide.

One of America’s most celebrated gatherings of young singers, the Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival attracts choirs from all over the world to perform, compete, and build international friendship.

Save the dates of July 13-18 for a week of public concerts featuring excellent youth choral programs like E. Mikeladze Central Music School.
