Happy to announce the results today! New selection of artists who applied for CFA #16 and who will be presented during new online exhibition Small and Mighty CLÜB! Actually, the biggest selection of artists ever in clüb and it’s really curious. New names appear today and the show is going to be great. Under A4 formats and raw ideas will be presented on our web on 10, June💥

I would like to introduce you to guest curator Louise Fitzjohn , who kindly agreed to collaborate with us and be co-curator on the new CFA #16. Louise a Margate-based Curator and Founder of Liminal Gallery, which specialises in the representation of contemporary artists, primarily championing women and non-binary artists with a particular focus on artist mothers. As the owner of the Liminal Gallery and a curator who knows the current problems and the difficulties of perceiving non-monumental works, she suggested this really famous Small and Mighty theme for the CFA.

Alongside the gallery, Fitzjohn runs Liminal Gallery Podcast series, is an arts writer and gives regular lectures at various academic programmes. She believes in the power of collaboration to create an inclusive and dynamic art world, throwing out the old traditions and creating new inclusive environments.

We are opening the New Call for Artists number 16 in collaboration with guest curator Louise Fitzjohn (Liminal Gallery Founder) from UK. 💥 SMALL AND MIGHTY CLÜB CFA #16💥 for the artists working with small formats under A4 size and raw sketches, notes, scenarios. Small works act as both an entry point to art, and its exit. Written memories and sketches begin with small sizes, ideas appear as you take a huge sheet of paper and a pencil and throw out your momentary feelings without ego or care. So often such ideas look so bright and give free reign to absolute fantasy. We invite artists who already make finished works on a small format, as well as those who sort through their ideas and thoughts between the pages of sketchbooks with drawings. We invite those who practice sketching, without the limitations of the canvas. Small format, sketches and bright but raw works.

Dear friends, I want to share with you one super important news. And I feel it’s so necessary to say now and start a new page. Me and the club are moving! We are moving to France! 🇫🇷
This happened with the support of the wonderful and important, in my opinion, L'atelier des artistes en exil where I applied in the winter of 2022. I still can't believe that they supported me as a curator and artist and contributed to my family's move👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 specifically to France. It is not at all easy to do everything yourself and without trust and support, this would not have been possible for a very, very long time. It is equally important for me that I was supported by my colleagues, with whom I was lucky to work and know through the existence of CLÜB. Nothing will happen without their letters of support💛 Thanks to Daniel Silvo , Jeanette Gunnarsson , Support Editions project , Georgia Stephenson , Kitty Dinshaw and Marguerite Nolan .emerging It is difficult to describe in words when the most important events in life happen thanks to amazing people, dreams and aspirations.
This move is an insanely serious and important event for the project, which will now be able to move on to work with their artists in person, at a meeting, in the gallery. Now I can meet you and I really want it💛
