A huge illustrated wolf and two ravens, plus a bear on the back; more on that coming later this week.⁠

The chest features a large circular bindrune, with illustrated leaves flowing up toward the right shoulder. Layers of dotwork add depth throughout, outlining the runic and knotwork details that fill the negative space around the animal illustrations.⁠
⁠
Alongside these illustrative elements, a circular bindrune pattern extends from the neck down to the upper ribs, with additional leaves scattered throughout.⁠

The Iron Wyrm has long been a favourite of mine, and of my followers too. This piece stands out for its fine dotwork and confident, strong linework. The whole sleeve is built from a single wyrm, decorated with a range of patterns, the standout being a 3D geometric pattern. As with many of my dedicated canvases, this client travelled in from the US to get it done.⁠

Starting at the top, a massive wyrm sits across the chest, with bindrunes and detailing winding their way down toward the wrist. Layers of dense and light dotwork create shifting gradients and shading throughout, giving the whole piece a rich, textured feel.⁠
⁠
Down at the wrist, you'll spot a knotwork band featuring several dragonhead designs, each one distinct, drawing on inspiration from a range of historical knotwork traditions.⁠
