We had a raffle winner client in this week, Janja who is actually a fellow tattoo artist () who was suffering from a the terrible ailment of not being that tattooed herself, we have certainly cured that with this sleeve! I put lots of healing and creativity into the bindrunes I've used in this project, which will see Janja well in her work. Four days, an epic sleeve and Janja looks very much more like a tattoo artist now!⁠

Bringing back our bindrunes from last year for pride month because honestly, a year on from the UK Supreme Court ruling that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological s*x, things have only gotten worse for the trans community and we want to reiterate that at Northern Black, we are and always will be a safe space for those who need it.

These bindrunes were created by .birch.and.thorn. The first consists of Tiwaz, Raido, Ansuz, Hagalaz, and Raido again, bound together to indicate 'Trans Rights Are Human Rights'.⁠

The second Bindrune represents our ongoing support. We stand with the Trans community and will continue to provide a safe and loving space for all.⁠

We stand with the trans community worldwide and will always promote equality. ⁠
